Gas Heating Mechanic and Plumber
Job Description
We are looking for a Gas Heating Mechanic and Plumber that is reliable, responsible, accountable, trustworthy, properly groomed, has excellent customer service and written and communication skills, and takes pride in their work as a plumber. This is a full-time position working under a licensed master plumber for over 35 years.
The candidate must have experience working with both gas heating systems as well as plumbing systems. The position includes great benefits and a competitive salary.
Responsibilities
- Heating: Inspect, install, repair, and replace pipes, fittings, and fixtures to maintain steam and gas heating systems. The employee needs to be able to solve no heat issues, have knowledge of gas-to-gas boiler replacements and oil-to-gas boiler conversions, replace hot water heaters, and work with radiators.
- Plumbing: The employee needs to have the ability to repair and replace bathroom and kitchen fixtures such as sinks, toilets, faucets, and drains.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years experience working under a licensed master plumber as a plumbing technician or as a plumber's apprentice.
- A valid driver's license.
- Graduate of vocational or trade school is a plus.
- Must have their own tools.
- Positive attitude and passion for working with their hands.
